Honest feedback about a booking experience

Spotenda reviews are separate from Google Maps and Trustpilot. They help customers describe their own experience with a business they booked through Spotenda.

Pre-launch policy. Native reviews remain disabled until the operator has reviewed this policy and assigned independent moderation responsibility.

Who can write a review?

Sign in with a verified email that matches your booking. The business must have accepted a customer-originated booking or date order. Reviews normally open after the appointment or fulfilment date. A recorded business cancellation after acceptance can be reviewed as a cancellation experience. Requests awaiting approval, declined requests, manual appointments and demonstration bookings do not qualify.

The badge Booked through Spotenda confirms a matching accepted booking record. It does not prove a payment, independent customer identity, service fulfilment or service quality. A business does not control review eligibility by marking an appointment completed.

If an older booking lacks the required acceptance or cancellation evidence, contact help@spotenda.com. We do not invent missing history or infer who cancelled from a person's current email or staff role.

What belongs in a review?

Choose 1–5 stars and describe your own genuine experience, whether positive or negative. Use a public alias, not contact details. Do not include addresses, emails, phone numbers, booking references, links, threats, discriminatory language, private information about other people or claims you know to be false.

Fake, self, staff and conflicted reviews are not allowed. Do not offer or accept money, discounts or other rewards for a review. Businesses cannot select only satisfied customers or pressure customers to change feedback.

How we count ratings

Each customer account contributes at most one published rating per business. A later eligible booking lets you update that review, not add extra counted ratings. Recurring appointments do not multiply your contribution. We show the arithmetic average, counted customer reviews and star breakdown; fewer than five customer reviews are labelled limited feedback.

Only published Spotenda reviews contribute. Pending, hidden and withdrawn reviews, demonstration scores and external provider ratings do not. A rating filter applies only to Spotenda reviews and does not change relevance or distance ordering. Counted accounts are not a guarantee of independent people.

Independent moderation and business replies

Every review and business reply starts pending independent moderation. Edits return to moderation and remove the previous rating from public totals until reviewed. We apply the same rules to all star values. Suspicious activity can require additional investigation; an automated flag alone does not prove fraud.

Businesses may reply or report a concern, but cannot approve, edit or remove customer reviews. Negative feedback is not itself a reason for removal. Moderators record a policy reason for decisions and cannot moderate their own reviews or a business they manage.

Reports, appeals and withdrawal

Signed-in verified users can report a published review; the report and supporting explanation are private. Reporting does not automatically hide a review. Authors can appeal a moderation outcome from My reviews or contact help@spotenda.com. Explain the relevant policy issue without sending passwords, verification codes or unnecessary personal information.

You can withdraw your own review from My reviews. Withdrawal removes it from public display and totals, but is not immediate erasure of database, audit or backup records. See our privacy information for access and deletion requests.
