How Spotenda works

Spotenda helps customers discover independent service businesses and send appointment requests. Unless explicitly stated otherwise, Spotenda is not the business providing the appointment and does not currently collect payment for it.

Bookings

A submitted request is not confirmed until any required email check is completed and the selected business approves it. Availability can change before email confirmation. Customers and businesses receive status emails, and the current status is available in the relevant account dashboard.

Customers may cancel confirmed bookings. A requested customer reschedule requires business approval; until then, the original appointment remains confirmed. Any price and payment arrangement is between the customer and the service business.

Accounts and security

You must provide accurate information, keep account credentials private and contact us promptly if you believe an account has been compromised. Business and administrator accounts must use an authenticator. Recovery codes must be stored safely.

Business listings

Businesses are responsible for keeping their listing, availability, prices, staff information and contact details accurate. They must provide services lawfully, honour accepted appointments or communicate changes promptly, and use customer information only for legitimate appointment and business-administration purposes.

Spotenda customer reviews

When enabled, customer reviews must describe a genuine eligible booking experience and follow our review rules. Businesses may reply or report concerns but cannot approve, edit or remove customer reviews. Moderation is independent of star value or payment. Booking-linked status does not guarantee fulfilment, independence or service quality.

External reviews

Business review links must refer to that business and location. External reviews and ratings are supplied by third parties, not verified or endorsed by Spotenda, and do not affect our search ranking. Google Maps content is subject to the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy. Trustpilot links open its own website.

Acceptable use

You must not submit false or abusive bookings, impersonate another person or business, probe or disrupt the service, upload unlawful or harmful material, or use information obtained through Spotenda for spam. We may restrict accounts or suspend listings where reasonably necessary to protect customers, businesses or the platform.

Service availability

We work to keep Spotenda secure and available, but online services can occasionally be interrupted. Businesses remain responsible for delivering their services and resolving service-quality, attendance, price and payment issues with their customers. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be limited.
